Red/Blue/Green Lining --------- the Blue Hills

Time: Leave promptly at 6:00 pm (Please be there earlier to sign in)
Trailhead:  Exit 2, Rt. 138 park-n-ride lot

Tonight's Hike:  Another chunk of the Skyline Trail. The first half is flat (and almost swampy). Then some easy elevation as we skirt the bottom of Little Blue. Then we'll (carefully!) cross 138 and ascend Big Blue. It is steep, but we will go slowly, and we will take rest stops -- not to fear! Grab the circular trail around Eliot Tower, then back down Big Blue to our cars.

Directions to Trailhead:   I93/128 to Exit 2. Go north on 138. Park in park-n-ride lot. If you see the Trailside Museum, you are too far north on 138! (We'll then carpool down Royal St. to the official beginning of the Skyline Trail, and begin our hike there.)
